I got this recipe from a friend of mine. I merely tweaked the amount of lemon, apple and ginger to enhance the flavor. I love the zesty lemon with the freshness of the cilantro and ginger. This is great first thing in the morning, or for a mid-day boost. I also have been know to sip on this while cooking dinner.
Here’s the Recipe
Fresh Lemony Green Juice
1 small cucumber, or ½ of a large cuc
2 stalks celery
1 apple (I prefer Gala or Pink Ladies)
½ small lemon or ¼ of a large lemon
peeled ginger (about one inch)
1 handful spinach
1 small handful of fresh cilantro
5 or 6 kale leaves (I used Black Tuscan)
Put ingredients in juicer and serve over ice. Cheers to your health!
